Congratulations to Gallows Hill Artist, Bobbie Bush, on her latest solo exhibit.

Reimagined:
A new exhibit by Bobbie Bush at Salem Arts Association

A Modern Approach to Traditional Art" explores the transformation of the photographic image through a layered mixed media process, blending digital brushwork with oils, pastels, texture, and cold wax. The work moves between portraiture and place, where each piece evolves into something tactile, dimensional, and deeply felt.

Opening Reception: Friday, May 1 | 6–8pm
Exhibition Dates: May 2 – June 13, 2026
Hours: Friday–Sunday | 12–6pm
Location: 88 Wharf Street, Salem, MA (Pickering Wharf next to Finz)

I’m excited to share that I’ll be hosting a solo exhibition this spring at Salem Arts Association.

"Reimagined: A Modern Approach to Traditional Art" explores the transformation of the photographic image through a layered mixed media process, blending digital brushwork with oils, pastels, texture, and cold wax. The exhibition opens alongside the American Dream group show.

Our studios are housed in a historic former tannery building in Salem’s Gallows Hill neighborhood at 16 Proctor Street, Salem MA.
