David is slowly improving. This post is not about David. It is fo me to vent my anger. Those who know me , know it takes a lot to upset me.
On September 7, David at 9:00 pm was released after a day in ER. Shortly after leaving Salem, we had a flat tire on two day old tires. We were on Hwy 72, heading toward Salem. It is about 26 miles between the two towns. Most of you know the Hwy. There is nothing between the two towns and and very dark.
David said he would change the tire, a man that was very week and could barely walk. I said no way that is why I have AAA. So I would never be stranded on a Hwy.
I called AAA, explained where I was, they said they would send someone out. The first driver called from Salem. He said he was in bed and would have to dress, I was closer to Rolla. He would call and tell them to send someone from Rolla. AAA called back. I told them again where I was. Then the 2nd driver called. I told him where I was. Thirty minutes later AAA called and said he couldn't find me. I said can't he go a little farther, he has to see me on the side of Hwy. with my flasher on. She said he can't just keep driving and driving when you don't even know where you are. Well that didn't set well with me. She said can't you drive till you find a mail box? No, I'm on a flat tire. AAA we can't cross County lines. I did not cross County line yet. So she said we have canceled your order.
So after two hour's David and Ellena changed the tire. Next night he was back in hospital, seriously ill. He is not to have any stress or strain.
Don't ever depend on AAA.
