Southern Illinois Antique Power Club

Southern Illinois Antique Power Club In 1989 a few people in Southern IL. decided to start a club dedicated to the preservation of antique farm tractors, equipment, and stationary engines.

It was decided to have a show to display and operate them so the younger generation could see and not lose the history of the vanishing old farming ways. A date was set, the first weekend after Labor Day every year. The show always falls just between the end of the fairs, and the start of harvest in the Southern Illinois area. Soon it grew into one of the largest tractor shows in the area. It has

been over 30 years and we are still going strong. We have a museum building on the Marion County Fair Grounds that we are constantly working to improve. One day it will house many items from the past that portray history in the farming way of life.

PLOWING RETURNS TO ANTIQUE POWER DAYS!

The Marion County Fairboard is allowing the Power Club to plow a select portion of the grounds this year!

So start digging out those plows and prepare them to get put to work this year!

The next regular meeting will be Monday May 18th at 7:30 pm at the fairgrounds. The board of directors will have a short meeting at 7 pm as well.

Thank you Kevin for getting this flier created for 2027. Make plans to attend and bring as much vintage garden tractors as well as vintage lawn equipment as you can! Plan on packing the grounds in 2027!
