Want to make a fun fish bookmark at home? Follow the simple steps below! 🐟🎨✂️

During our latest Make & Take Storytime, we read the charming story This Is Not My Hat by Jon Klassen and created our very own underwater reading buddies! 📚✨

✂️ DIY Fish Bookmark Craft Steps:
Step 1: Decorate your fish using your favorite coloring utensils, glitter, and paper cutouts—get as creative with it as you like! 🖍️🎨
Step 2: Carefully cut out your fish shape. ✂️
Step 3: Laminate your fish or cover it securely with clear shipping tape to make it durable for reading sessions. 📑✨
Step 4: Punch a hole at the top, tie on a colorful tassel, and you’re done! 🧵🎉

Fall is here, and play season is in full swing! 🍂🚌✨

From crisp outdoor discoveries in A.C.’s Backyard 🍁 to cozy indoor tinkering in our exhibit rooms, last week was packed with smiles, creativity, and non-stop movement!

One of our favorite highlights? Watching our mini conductors and drivers jump into the driver’s seat at the Salem Station Cherriots bus exhibit! 🚍 Beep beep! Interactive community roleplay gives kids a fun way to explore local transit, take the wheel, and let their imaginations travel far and wide.

Whether your little ones love burning off energy outdoors or diving into hands-on learning and imaginative play inside, autumn at the museum offers the best of both worlds. 🌤️🎨
