Oregon Electric Railway Museum

Oregon Electric Railway Museum The Oregon Electric Railway Museum is owned and operated by the Oregon Electric Railway Historical S The new museum has been expanding ever since.

The museum moved from its original location at Trolley Park in Glenwood, Oregon to Brooks, Oregon in 1996. The new museum had to be built from scratch. Since 1996 we have built over a mile of track with overhead wire and yard leads, a carbarn with 4 tracks, a powerhouse, and a depot.

The Museum's Board of Trustees would like to thank our passengers and volunteers for the most successful Steam-Up ever. We beat all previous records for tickets sold, ridership, and gift shop sales. This is important to keeping our museum running!

We have decided to give our volunteers and trolleys a much-needed rest, and thus we will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 8th. But don't worry, the museum will be open on Aug. 15, 22, and 29th. It will also be open on Sept 5th, which happens to be the 40th anniversary of our MAX #101 car opening the TriMet MAX Light Rail system.
