The act of creating a mandala represents the transformation of the universe from a reality of suffering to one of enlightenment. This guidance tool is used for trance induction, meant to represent wholeness and a model for the organizational structure of life itself.

Box of Bubbles opened its doors at the end of June 2013 and since then has been the site of numerous art events. It began by hosting the first ever ALT WALK, a unique combination of traditional art exhibits, performance art, music, and live demonstrations. Without missing a beat, The Box began offering art instruction in drawing, paper mache, screen printing, and costume and mask making. The Box also hosted a "live tattoo event" and several variety show presentations, as well as provided workspace for the creation of a "Day of the Dead" puppet, and studio space for the development of many local artists' projects.
