Do to lack of pre-sales, we will not be having a BBQ BUT will be having various other activities. While we are certain to have a food truck or two, please come refreshed or bring your own refreshments. Sorry for the inconvenience but the day promises to be very interesting!
Dear Members:
Join us for Rancho Day at the Adobe on September 21st 10 am-4 pm. This includes:
-Historic house docent-led tours including at the Boronda Adobe and one-room schoolhouse
-Costumed re-enactors
-Demonstrations (stone tools, hands-on Native American bead making, cowboy roping, spinning, hide and tallow)
-Vintage cars
-Vintage photo booth with prints
-Our long-awaited 1880s style library
-Heirloom garden walkabouts
-Produce and book sale
-Ambassadors present from various historical and cultural institutions
Due to lack of presales, we've modified the original schedule and have replaced the BBQ portion of the event with a food truck. Those who prepaid for the BBQ will be refunded to the original payment method. If you sent a check, it hasn't been deposited (we can mail it back to you or shred it) or converted into a donation towards our ongoing preservation efforts.
