Saline Area Historical Society The SAHS maintains the Depot Museum and Rentschler Farm Museum. We hosts events throughout the year.

Our Depot museum and grounds are open on Saturdays from 10-2 during the year. The Farm is open every third Saturday from 12-3, May thru September.

to September 1963, when a movie titled Spenders was filmed in the backyard of the Sam Lambarth home located at 213 S. Ann Arbor St. Lambarth built the home in 1923, and it was chosen by the film director Wayne Kniffin because it embodied the "typical small-town home" he was looking for. This film wasn't a theatrical release; the National Council of Churches commissioned the film, and it was used as an educational film for Protestant churches.

Does anyone remember this movie being filmed in Saline?
