Red Kiln is hosting a Special show in our small gallery!
March 14th-April 11th

"Strata" Formational Studio Potters from Utah.
Here in the West the formations of the land are easily visible.
Each layer is evident in the twisting and turning of the geology.
The layers of influence in Utah Studio Pottery are not easy to find.
Red Kiln Pottery Gallery is hosting an exhibition focused on local potters and to bring the foundational, “Formational” influences of our Studio potters to light. We are exposing some of the STRATA of influence in Utah Pottery.

CALL FOR ENTRIES
Calling all who have been a part of Red Kiln! Students, Teachers, Renters, and Partners! Red Kiln is turning 30 and we’d like to showcase work from all of the wonderful artists involved in our gallery and studio.

*One submission per person

*Pieces will NOT be for sale

*Entries due Tuesday and Wednesday, 5/7 and 5/8, noon through 7 p.m.

*Opening reception will be during Red Kiln’s 30th Birthday Bash, May 11, 1 - 5 p.m.

*Show will run through Thursday, June 13th.

*Pick up Friday and Saturday 6/14 and 6/15, noon through 6 p.m.

Red Kiln is hiring a Gallery/Studio Assistant. Responsibilities include tending the gallery and helping customers, arranging displays, and studio cleaning. We are looking for someone who can work 8 - 10 hours per week, flexibility within the hours of noon until 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Pay is $13 per hour plus 24/7 studio access. Ceramic experience is required. Must be at 18 years or older. This position would be great for a student or an artist looking for part time work with the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a great community studio.
