The first event in Smyth County's VA250 Celebration is coming up! Join us as we celebrate in 2025 with "The Road To Revolution!" On January 27th, 2025 Michael Henningsen will portray "Fightin' Parson" Charles Cummings, one of the signers of the Fincastle Resolutions. The event will take place at the Marion branch of the Smyth County Public Library at 6PM in the Copenhaver Meeting Room (downstairs). We hope you will join us! In the event of bad weather, the date will be moved to February 3rd, 2025. The Museum of the Middle Appalachians is excited to open the 18th annual Winter Wonderland of Christmas Trees on Friday, November 29th. Stop by and enjoy the beautiful Christmas decor!💙❄️

For organizations and individuals decorating a tree, the Museum will be open until 8:00pm today, November 25th, to decorate.
