Art Scene West has had two articles featured in the Arts & Culture section of their Sunday print. On January 11th, popular rising star .art was front and center for his surreal photographs that are capturing the hearts and imaginations of so many of our visitors. Next, on March 1st our first ever Natures Narrative exhibition was featured, where gallery owner Joshua Rios shared some of the inspiration behind the gallery's eclectic curations. 2026 has been a fantastic start for our gallery and we look forward to continuing offering opportunities for artists to showcase their artwork and for the public to enjoy fine art during their visit in .

I create whimsical narrative art in acrylic paintings that blend realism and surrealism. Inspired by my own adventures in the natural world, I use anthropomorphic characters to tell visual fairytales that explore themes of conservation and being your best self. The scenes unfold in storylines that blend serenity and humor with a touch of darkness and nostalgia. Through this storytelling, I invite viewers to reconnect with their inner child and see themselves reflected in the creatures I create. My goal is to foster a personal connection to nature rooted in empathy and nonsensical joy. Each piece in the included collection tells its own tale of nature nourishing and nurturing. The stories - though whimsical - provide a new perspective on nature and reflect healthy connections to it. Nature feeds us, fills us with wonder, calls us to exploration and adventure, and clears the city clutter from our minds to remind us what is truly important.
