THE ART OF MAKING ASYMMETRY FEEL BALANCED. 🏀
Not every masterpiece comes together easily. And this Mikal Bridges Knicks project was a perfect example of why great framing is about so much more than putting a jersey behind glass.
We started with a beautiful signed jersey, two photographs with completely different dimensions and orientations, and a collectible card. To bring the entire composition together, we also created a custom embroidered jumbo Knicks patch and a precision laser-engraved nameplate, both produced in-house at Jacquez Art.
The challenge? Bringing all those elements together without sacrificing balance, depth, or the one thing that matters most: keeping the jersey the hero.
Nothing was symmetrical. Nothing naturally lined up.
Every opening, every contour, every layer of suede matting had to be carefully considered. We explored multiple layouts, worked through the proportions, and collaborated with our client to find the composition that felt just right.
Our custom embroidered Knicks patch became the anchor. The photographs found their place. And the asymmetry became part of what makes this piece so special.
Finished with our signature dimensional presentation, precision-cut layered suede matting, and our custom laser-engraved nameplate.
The goal was never to make everything symmetrical. It was to make everything belong.
One jersey. Countless decisions. One-of-one masterpiece.
