"...Tijuana currently has five formal declarations of cultural heritage issued at the state level, including the Teniente Guerrero Park, the Monument to the Defenders of Baja California, the old Municipal Palace —now the Palace of Culture— and the Altamira House of Culture.
She also explained that five paintings by the artist Servín and other assets considered to have historical and cultural value for the city are also protected, and that there is “a list of assets that could be declared cultural heritage, which includes buildings, structures, sites, tangible and intangible assets,” he commented.
The official noted that in addition to historical buildings, the catalog includes artistic expressions, archives, cultural landscapes and areas of special protection, a whole collection that she assured can include at least 70 buildings, structures and objects, which can be included in this conservation category."
