What stops you from buying art?
——
Is it that you’re on unemployment and the job economy is rapidly crashing?
Is that you deem art purchases “unnecessary?”
Is it intimidating, plain and simple?
——-
The validity in all of those concerns is relatable for folks, even artists themselves.
——-
The magnificence of buying a piece of artwork (this does not include mass-produced prints from conglomerates) allows you to support local communities on a very intimate level.
And being art collector doesn’t mean you have to be Larry Gagosian. You get to express your interests, style, and tastes with the art you choose to own. You abide by NO rules when you choose to buy a piece of artwork. It’s a special and beautiful way of existing in a stream of creativity.

Y’all still out there? Well, we hope this piece by facilitate more dreaminess. Zack works with “imperfect”
processing to create altered landscapes and certainly doesn’t abdicate fantastic composition. Check him out.

*Art We’re Into*
Been there. Done that.
nailed it with her piece, “Are You Still Watching?” Ink and oil pastel on raw canvas. Artist, Katie So, created this during her most recent residency in BC. We love the textural play of the unstretched canvas looking like tossed bedsheets, with a message we can surely all find meaning in.
