Pink Floyd - Speak to Me, 2022
Print by Ian Emes

In 1972, filmmaker Ian Emes created the mesmerizing animated short French Windows, set to “One of These Days” from Pink Floyd’s 1971 album Meddle.

Pink Floyd took notice — which led to a commission to create custom visuals for songs from The Dark Side of the Moon.

Projected onto the now-iconic circular screen above the stage, Emes’ animations became one of the most unforgettable elements of Pink Floyd’s live shows. 🎥✨

The Grateful Dead, Workingman’s Dead Album Back Cover - Dead Set Bobby Portrait, 1970
Drawing
By Stanley Mouse
Stanley Mouse was commissioned by the Grateful Dead in 1970 to create individual band portraits for the back cover of their forthcoming album Workingman’s Dead. This original artwork was the first portrait he created of Bob Weir for the project, but another version with less contrast was used instead because it would reproduce better in print.

Release Notes:
This signed, original artwork was created in 1970.
