A Good Day to you all,
I am writing to tell you all about a big fundraiser we are planning in support of the Cuesta Art Gallery.
This February 21st we will be having a Foundation Fundraiser for the Cuesta College Art Gallery. We are looking to raise $5000 that evening by bringing together 50-100 people willing to give $50-$100 to the Gallery Endowment. The funding would directly provide assistance in the gallery’s operational costs, from transportation of works, installation materials, artist honorariums, and artist accommodations. The endowment also has a long-term goal of assisting the college in funding a gallery director position, which would allow us to expand our exhibition schedule in the future. Your support for this endowment will assist our efforts to use our gallery to its true potential, both for the good of our students and our local arts community.
Most of you know what an important role Cuesta College Art department and its gallery have played in building a more inform and enlightened visual experience for our local community.
We are now asking that you reflect on the role this gallery and our department have played in your life and the life of our students.
We are looking for patrons of the arts to gather together for this worthy cause.
