We had our Award Show Reception last night and the winners have been announced. You can come by the art center this weekend and see this fabulous show and recognize the winning pieces by their ribbons hanging. Shared are photos of the winners present at the event.

Artist, Greg Verret, is in the gallery. You can see his fantasticly rendered artwork in the gallery on a regular basis as well as his newest piece which is hanging in our new exhibit. The Award Show just went up and we are having a reception this Friday in the San Marcos Art Center from 6-8pm. Winners will be announced. So come down Friday and see who's taking home the prizes.

The gallery is open all day today and Artist, Malena Stidham is in from San Antonio. Stop by and see her and all the beautiful art the gallery has to offer.

Artist, Lisa McPike Smith is set up in the art center today. She is working on some of her work for upcoming shows. Come in and say hi. You can see all the amazing work in the gallery and catch our Spring Show before it's over. This is also the time to apply for our next show, The Award Show. You can do that online on our website.

It is the last day of the San Marcos Studio Tour! Artist Steve Ellis, SKE, is in the gallery working on his art and displaying some of his amazing pieces. We also have a fantastic special exhibit with over 30 artists alongside our regular showing gallery works.

Here is a sneak peak at some of the artwork in our newest exhibit, SMAL Spring Show. We had over 30 artists enter this show and there really is a colorful and vibrant variety of artwork to usher in our short spring here in Texas. Join us during the .smtx studio tour as we are a stop. The opening reception for this show is this coming Saturday from 5-7pm in the San Marcos Art Center

Artist Lisa McPike Smith of , has a variety of artistic skills from assemblage to ceramic work. She is in the gallery all day today. Come say hi and see all of the wonderful art hanging in the San Marcos Art Center . She'll have some new pieces hanging in our Spring Show which will be going up next week.
