Terrific news! Several of my photos earned Bronzes in the EPSON International Pano Awards competition. I'm thrilled—it's an honor to be recognized in a competition that focuses landscapes. So inspiring. Enjoy!

Good news! The International Photography Awards announced their 2017 competition results, and I found out that nine of my photos earned a total of 12 honorable mentions. There were 14,270 entries from 165 countries. I entered photos in five categories:

Special, Panoramic:
"Golden Bridge, Blue Evening"
"Formations"
"Central Coast Mountain Sunset"
"Zabriskie Point Sunrise"
"Submerged"

Fine Art, Landscape:
“Zabriskie Point Sunrise”

Nature:
“Firefall at Horsetail Falls” – (Sunset category)
“Frazil on the Merced” – (Seasons category)

Advertising:
“Art Deco” (Product category)
"Jade" – (Product + Fashion categories)

Architecture:
"Golden Bridge, Blue Evening"

I entered quite a few because I didn't know exactly how the competition would turn out. So I was surprised and happy with the results. Thought I'd share photos for you to check out!

Good news on the San Diego County Fair Int'l Photo Competition that I entered earlier this year. My photograph "Zabriskie Point Sunrise" was awarded 2nd Place, and two of my other landscape and nature photos received honorable mentions. Here are a few photos from the event!

I'm thrilled to say that fstoppers.com featured my landscape photo as the Photo of the Day! This photo was taken after one of the biggest overnight snowstorms in Yosemite in years. Life's good!

With Yosemite Falls surrounded by mist in the background, this winter landscape features the Merced River with floating frazil ice reflecting the last rays of sunlight at Yosemite National Park, CA.
