As we graduate another year of the San Saba County Museum‘s regularly scheduled openings this weekend we want to thank everyone who came by for a visit and supported the museum.
If you’re from San Saba, come by and find your graduating class photo from San Saba High(yours truly is in one of the photos below 😉). If you’re not, come on by anyway, I promise you’ll enjoy it.
Located in beautiful Mill Pond Park. Hours; 1:30-4. Admission is free, donations appreciated.

San Saba County Historical Museum is the place to “Bee” this weekend “Honey”. You will have a “Smoking” good time checking out all the “Sweet” displays depicting life the way it was in the past.
Located in beautiful Mill Pond Park. Open Saturday and Sunday, 1:30 to 4. We will only be open this weekend and next before we close for our winter break, so come on by and see what all the “Buzzzzz” is about.

So, the US Navy’s 250th birthday is Monday the 13th. Come by the San Saba County Historical Museum this weekend and check out our Honors Room. Besides local naval members, we also honor many San Saba natives who served our county, state and nation.

High school football is in full swing. No better time to be a Coyote, Armadillo or an Indian.
With the weather cooling off I’m sure there are some pecan farmers going “nuts” anticipating the harvest. So if you’re not at a game or maintaining your harvest equipment, come by the San Saba County Historical Museum this weekend and check out the rich history of our county.

I remember a day when this log structure stood alone in Mill Pond Park. It was the San Saba County Historical Museum. We’ve come a long way since then. Come by this weekend and learn about the museum‘s progression. Be sure to ask the hosts what we have planned for our little museum

One of the things we are looking at for the San Saba County Historical Museum is an addition to the existing museum. Plans are being drawn, estimates written and research into funding. One of the things this addition will facilitate is the display of our beautifully restored fire truck. It will also allow a larger space for meeting and demonstrations during the Night at the Museum.
The museum will be open this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 1:30 to 4. Admission is free, donations are welcome. Hope you come by and see us. Located in beautiful Mill Pond Park.

Well folks, Armadillo football will be starting up NEXT Friday. So come by the San Saba County Historical Museum this weekend and search for past SS Armadillo sports greats.

Rodeo!!! I got my mount all saddled and ready to go. Blaze is chomping at the bit. No I won’t be riding side saddle like my dear departed friend, Minnie Kelly used to.
