This painting has been such an evolution. Like other paintings of mine that just don't cut it anymore for me, I just paint over them. This one looks nothing like the painting beneath it. Like me while painting it, it seems to portray a mix of emotions from happy to sad and in-between. I think I am pretty in touch with my inner child and my feelings can travel all over the place in a short period of time. I often think my work is busy, but I enjoy the breathing room in this one while being playful & having a sense of innocence. "Child's Play". 12x12 mixed media on wood panel.
