ANOTHER TUESDAY SEW DAY — We had a wide variety of quilt projects taking place at LGCHC today. Liz brought an English paper piecing project to work on when she wasn’t helping everyone else. Barbara started planning for her next project which she’s making for someone else. Lois worked on the summer quilt-along project which is coming along beautifully. Norieta sewed some strips together, part of a new kit project she is starting. Lorie sewed binding onto one of our community-service projects, and I sewed some string blocks together for another community-service project. Whether we’re all working on the same project or everyone is doing their own thing, there’s a special sense of community among our quilters. We love Tuesdays in the gorge!❤️

RESIN ART FUN — Regardless of how many participants turn out for a resin workshop, the sessions are always so enjoyable. Instructor Cindy Littleton always explains things very well, including safety precautions. She also provides a very nice variety of dried flowers and other tiny decorative items. Time slips away quickly as participants make their selections and pay attention to the tiny details. We enjoyed making a variety of pieces in the session yesterday. There were pendants in a variety of shapes and sizes along with barrettes, bookmarks, and magnets. Our overall favorite was a mason jar pendant — we’re obviously country girls! 🙂
Thank you, Cindy, for another fun resin art workshop! ❤️
