Join us on June 6th from 11–3 at the historic Dr. Willella Howe-Waffle House for our special ‘Til Death Do Us Part Open House as we explore the themes of childbirth, marriage, and death through immersive vignettes, artifacts, heirlooms, original historical pieces, and newspaper articles highlighting weddings, funerals, and other significant life events connected to the Howe-Waffle family.
Our formal parlor will feature a funeral scene courtesy of , while our second parlor window will showcase a wedding scene inspired by the era. Guests will enjoy docent-led tours throughout the home, as well as tea and cookies served in our beautiful garden.
While you’re here, be sure to visit our Museum Deaccession Sale taking place in the back garden! Browse a unique selection of items we no longer have room for, including antique furniture, books, paper ephemera, collectibles, and more.
