Serving as a background to Santa and Mrs. Claus is this beautiful acrylic painting which was donated by Santa Claus, Indiana resident Al Salhoff. It depicts the #467 Locomotive which was built in 1952. The train was painted as it sat on the Kimbal Spur. It’s most recent excursions ran from Tell City to French Lick. The train is now retired. Salhoff’s painting is displayed prominently in the Philip Koch Memorial Train Room in the Santa Claus Museum.
