Our Story

FIREBOX STUDIOS/SANTA FE CLAY occupies a handsome building on three shady acres in the high desert just north of Santa Fe. This unique facility houses a world-class art gallery (showcasing both traditional and contemporary artists); an engaging retail space offering everything from ceramic supplies to tableware; and a light-filled, airy studio that's fully equipped for the on-going production of ceramics. Our instructors provide creative opportunities for students of all ages, and every skill level - and our Summer Workshop Program, with its changing roster of nationally-recognized artists, has firmly established SANTA FE CLAY as the Southwest’s most complete ceramic art center. We invite you to visit the gallery, the store or the studio: facilities are open year-round, and we’re always on hand with tips about tools and techniques, suggestions for private classes, or advice about acquiring any of the special pieces you’ll discover at FIREBOX STUDIOS/SANTA FE CLAY.
