We are SO excited to have WISC Fellow Stina Folkebrant back, with an exhibition and live painting at Edition One Gallery on Canyon Road!

Stina Folkebrant paints with black and white acrylic inspired by Chinese ink painting where the black is blended with water to achieve a grayscale.

Our Colcha story continues! Today we had the honor of sharing our Colcha embroidery collection with Julia R. Gomez, Annette Gutierrez Turk, and Marlene Jackson. We learned more wonderful details about the collection and the motifs, textiles, and types of thread used. We will be seeing more of these amazingly talented women in the months to come, culminating in a special event. Stay tuned!
