Hands of America has always been a local, low impact, environmentally friendly business, long before green was chic. Leonel Capparelli and his team of artisans make everything by hand in his Santa Fe workshop. He saves every last scrap of wood and uses only reclaimed, recycled mat

erials in his work.

“This is a way of life for me, maybe because I come from the Third World or a family of restorers, I’ve always saved and re-used everything.”
