Wild Feather Gallery Bring the Beauty of Creation into your space with the fine art nature photography of Zach Jones.

05/05/2026

There is no light quite like a Florida sunrise—and no better moment to celebrate it than just before summer begins.

On Thursday, May 14th from 4–7 PM, Wild Feather Gallery invites you to Sunrise of Summer, an intimate evening with fine art nature photographer Zach Jones in Santa Rosa Beach.

New pieces will be unveiled. Zach will be present all evening to share the stories behind the captures. Light refreshments will be served.

This is an evening for those who love this coast, and who believe the right piece of artwork can transform a home.

Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles (Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles ) will be present, helping us all do a better job of sharing our beaches with these beautiful creatures. A portion of all sales will be donated to this wonderful organization!

Reservations are complimentary and required—reserve your space now: Go to wildfeather.com and tap "Events"

Over 100 sunrises this year. Florida's beaches, the surf, the birds, the light.

There is simply no better place to begin a morning than standing in the Gulf as the sun breaks the horizon and the world comes alive around you.

I was created to be in these moments. To observe them, to capture them, and to share them with people who love Creation as much as I do.

Because not everyone can be here every morning. But you deserve to wake up to this beauty.

That's why I’ll be out there so many mornings—no matter the conditions.

Someone in St. Pete Beach just declared war on a colony of hundreds of protected Black Skimmers—scattering toxic mothballs across their nesting site days before breeding season. Black Skimmers are a threatened species in Florida, and this deliberate act of sabotage could expose the culprit to federal and state charges including felony counts, up to 7 years in prison, and over $120,000 in fines. The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating and offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest — call or text 888-404-3922 or visit MyFWC.com/WildlifeAlert.

I wish I could visit all of these special places this month. If I could, here is how I would spend much of my time at each. During this time of year, I typically don't leave my home state of Florida... the birding is simply phenomenal right now!

Do you have preferred sightings or special memories from any of these places this time of year?

I wish to thank everyone that braved the foul weather last week to attend my Seasonal Release Event at my gallery in Santa Rosa Beach. Your support means so very much to me!

Many new never-before-seen pieces were on display, and I'm still humbled by the kind words and sentiments shared by attendees. I never know which pieces will be the most-loved, but without a doubt the star of the evening was "Born Leader," my monochrome capture of a young male lion destined for greatness in the Maasai Mara.

If you weren't aware of this event, and would like to be invited to future gallery events, please message us here or on our website.

Naturally Yours,
Zach

A bittersweet opportunity for our Collectors...

We're retiring our petitart collection, but have reduced all remaining 8x12" and 10x15" pieces to an incredible $99.

They make excellent gifts and stocking stuffers!

Inventory is already dwindling, and what is remaining won't last long. Shop now! Link in bio.

The United States Fish & Wildlife Service wants to hunt & exterminate 500,000 barred owls.

Please allow me to walk you through this—in my opinion—disturbing and misguided development.
