OPENING FRIDAY 11/29: Spa Fine Art Gallery is proud to present the 12th Annual Small Works Show, featuring an exhibit of small works by over 20 fine artists just in time for Holiday gift giving! A variety of subjects and styles will be represented – surely a little something for everyone! Select paintings will have special pricing for this limited time only.

Spa Fine Art Gallery began its first Small Works Show in 2012 with the intention of showcasing and offering the remarkable artwork of both emerging and established artists at a price point that is accessible for all collectors. This initiative not only highlights artistic talent but also invites a broader audience to experience and appreciate the world of fine art.

Each year, the gallery is pleased to see the exhibition grow in popularity and attract an even larger audience than before. Meet artist, Alexei Butirskiy, the weekend of November 8th - 10th and watch painting live in gallery + browse a collection of originals and giclee’s available for purchase.

Alexei is an academically trained painter specializing in the play of light and shadow to highlight the daily life of iconic urban landscapes. The power and intensity of the relationship between light and dark are the profound forces of his work. The sophisticated application of light effects with color reinforce the majesty of his compositions. Butirskiy’s paintings are reminiscent of the works of Claude de Lorraine and Caravaggio with their luminescent qualities and skillful variations of light and dark.
