Hi everyone! As many of you know, nearby Mussen Rd has been closed since 2019 due to flooding which has been very detrimental to many in the farming community. Please see below for an urgent plea!!

URGENT MESSAGE!! At the town board meeting on 3/4, we learned that grant $$ is available to fix WI roadways that have negatively impacted the agricultural community. The grant called the “Agricultural Road Improvement Program” (ARIP) would cover 90% of the cost. An initial amount of $50 Million is available with a total of $150 Million allotted for this program over time. The board feels that Mussen Road would be a great candidate for these funds. This is where we all come in!! Due to the competition for these, there is an ARIP Agricultural Producer Application Support Form to be completed by those in agriculture who’ve been detrimentally impacted by Mussen Road’s closure. Time is of the essence!! The ARIP application deadline is April 5th! The board is asking Ag Producer Application Support Forms be completed ASAP! If you know a farmer or ag business that has been impacted, PLEASE encourage them to complete the support form! Forms were handed out at the meeting. THANK YOU!!
