This is our first post in our new weekly series highlighting the makers featured in the Andrew County Museum gift shop.

This week we are featuring Teresea Neely from Cosby. Teresea brought in these adorable handmade tea towels to sell in the gift shop. Several feature chicken designs, and there is only one flower towel left.

Stop by the museum gift shop to check them out and see all the other items we have to offer while supporting local makers.

Here’s another staff highlight:
Nancy Adams started at the museum in 2024 as a volunteer, and was hired in February 2025 as an assistant to the Curator/Administrative Assistant. She previously worked at Boehringer Ingelheim for 33 years. She became a resident of Andrew County when she married her husband Craig. She has two sons, four grandchildren, a cat and a dog.
Nancy has always loved museums, and could spend hours reading the information that is written about the artifacts. Her favorite thing about the museum is that all of the items in collections come from Andrew County. The museum truly represents the history of the Andrew County community. She also enjoys meeting the people who come to the museum to view the exhibits, volunteer, or attend programs presented at the museum.
When Nancy is not at the museum she keeps very busy delivering Meals on Wheels to residents in Savannah, volunteering around the community, and helping at church as a youth leader. She also loves to travel, watch old movies, and attend her granddaughter’s school events.
