Classes are centrally located in Midtown Savannah, at 215 E. 64th Street. The hand building classes include instruction in different sculpture techniques such as coiling, slab work, pinching, carving, and bas-relief designs. The pottery instruction involves learning how to center the clay on the wheel, how to make plates, bowls and cylinders, how to attach handles, and create beautiful surface des

igns. At the end of the session students will apply either underglaze paints or glazes to complete their work with a splash of color. All work will be finished with a gloss glaze and fired. The work will be available for pick up after all of the firings have been done. Please call or email Tiffany with any questions or to register. To complete registration, please send a $20 deposit, payable to Tiffany Drabek, to the above address. The balance of the tuition is due at the first class. Class fees include all materials and firings. $10 off total tuition if registered for more than one session. $10 off family total if a sibling registers. Hi Families,

I am in NY now enjoying cooler weather and finally stopping to think about pottery class this summer! As you know I didn't offer classes this spring. We have had construction workers throughout for a few improvements and will have them return this fall. So, I see a possible break to do pottery! Please let me know if you are interested in a pottery class during the first week of August, most likely going from 8:30-10 or 10:30. I am trying to avoid the heat.

One of the improvements in the near future would be to redo the studio with AC!!! So, I am looking forward to offering that for my students!

I hope you all are enjoying your summer. Please let me know if you are interested and the age of your child/children that you would want to enroll. We will work out the details once I figure out if we have enough interest for a class.

Make Ornaments out of clay:

For $7 a slab, you can make 10-20 ornaments! I will have cookie cutters, stamps and tools for your creative use. I will fire your ornaments and you will further decorate them at home with paints, stains, glitter, or hot glue attachments.
