Happiest birthday, Ryan! For those unfamiliar and maybe only know him from the museum, Graveface started as an independent record label almost 26 years ago () by Ryan who continues to solely and run it today. He’s the originator behind all of the Graveface entities as well as (established in 2015) and a handful of impressive offshoots ( , and Cellar Dwellar). He’s one of the most incredible and motivated people I’ve ever known and inspires me constantly. Everything in these worlds is in a big way a passion project, done out of love often for the underrated or under-appreciated in the world of art and media. It’s all incredibly difficult, and he doesn’t slow down— I don’t know how he is able to juggle it all while still being inspired with new ideas every day.
I’m so lucky to know this human who I’m happy to call my husband and someone who manages to make me laugh every single day. Help me wish him an incredible day! 🖤🎈

MASSIVE MASSIVE NEWS! We just signed a lease for our 3rd museum space!! The third location will be in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and will be a tad bit bigger than our Chicago location. Please follow our new page and spread the word. We’re looking to open in June and will need to hire docents. If you or anyone you know is looking for work out that way please have them get in touch. This would not be happening without the support of our friend (and author!) and his company (our new neighbor) . What will this new museum focus on? Similar to , we have so much regional stuff that simply doesn’t make sense to exhibit in Savannah, so a lot of stuff we’ve never exhibited before. Even the Gacy room, for example, will be regional and deal with his Arkansas ties etc. We’re really excited and hope you make the trek to this gorgeous little town someday. We’ll share pictures and an opening date when we get closer. Thanks for your continued support of all our entities. ❤️🖤❤️🖤

Happy Mother’s Day! It felt like an appropriate time to post about the Ed Kemper OST we pressed in house back in October 👀 I also did a 2 part Ed Kemper episode on the Graveface Museum patreon, part one was an interview with the incredibly talented and prolific composer .band. It was a fascinating discussion about his process for scoring horror, sci-fi, and fantasy films including this one!
Scoop up a copy of the soundtrack on our website and listen to the full interview on Patreon!

Thank you so much to everyone who has grabbed one of our first ever oddities mystery boxes!! 🥀⚰️
Quick stock update: we’ve sold through 1/2 of the highest value tier which means we only have 15 left!! This tier guarantees at least one original true crime piece in addition to and assortment of some higher value artifacts.
We have three tiers total to choose from, each curated and designed with a different intention. This project has been years in the making to select the items we have for this drop— that being said I’m not sure when we’ll make them again once they’re sold out. You can check out the options on our website!

I can’t believe it’s been nearly a decade since we started taking our true crime and cult collection on tour to pop-up exhibits!

There have been a lot of new businesses, museums, traveling conventions, and exhibits popping-up over the past few years which has just made me hyper aware of how long we’ve been at this specifically. I occasionally even see people come through the museum in Savannah who attended some of these events which is really special.

The museum has grown and morphed into something much greater and important than where it started, we’ve also grown a lot in the process and will continue to. Whether you’ve supported what we do for the past decade or the past day— thank you endlessly 🫶
