Usually don't post this kind of stuff but, wow, Galvalume was a game changer in the metal building business. It went from Galvanized steel (that would rust at a rapid rate and was not nearly as durable) to Galvalume (which is a staple in the business. Produced 100% from recycled material. Not only is it used on most exposed metal roofing but, it is a core material for most colored metal material as well. In short, if it is metal, chances are it contains Galvalume).

The global metal construction community is mourning the passing of Angelo “Ange” Borzillo, the co-inventor of GALVALUME® coated steel and a 2022 inductee into the Metal Construction News Hall of Fame.
