Today I started my first commission in 4 years. Between family, work, school, new job teaching, living, getting divorced, and a slew if other challenges I just did not have the time, space, or materials to work with. Today was a little shaky, but I was able to do this in 4 hours. It felt fantastic to be creative again. I will do more.

Today I was feeling a little stressed out with work, so instead of watching Reals all day, I decided to do some leatherwork, starting with this idea for a sheath for my Damascus knife 🙂

I feel much better, and there’s definitely more to come, but I am going to call it a night and continue tomorrow. More to come

**Thought experiment**

What if…..instead of a spinning ball in an infinite vacuum of space, we live on a flat earth under an inpenetrabke dome, surrounded by infinite lands and civilizations. Instead of planets they are continents. Instead of aliens they are geographical neighbors within reach thanks to significant advances in technology.

How would that change your perceptions and perspectives ?
