1. 400 Club Winners Final Week #10. Thanks to everyone who supported this Detachment fundraiser, and especially to the winners. 2. A reminder: Everyone who will be at the 9/11 ceremony at McDade Park. The program begins at 0800. Uniform of the day: If you have them, Blues Trousers, white SS Shirt, white gloves, duty belt, and cover. The weather is looking cloudy, with temperatures in the high seventies. I would suggest bringing the satin and nylon jacket if you have them. 3. Detachment meeting Sunday, September 13th. I didn't mention at the last meeting that we will be nominating officers and the Detachment Marine of the Year. If you have anyone in mind, Sunday will be the time to nominate. 4. A big shout-out to the members who spent time at La Fiesta Italiano this past weekend promoting the Detachment and selling Roses and shirts.
