We’re excited to announce the opening of our new artist show featuring Mae Marvelle Leroux (she/they). Mae is a q***r, neurodivergent artist and writer whose work draws inspiration from the universe, nature, music, memory, and raw emotion. Their practice explores the delicate balance between chaos and control.
Collage is central to Mae’s work—an expressive outlet for processing trauma and emotion. Through layered imagery and deconstructed narratives, Mae communicates powerful personal experiences with striking clarity and depth. Each piece incorporates a wide range of materials and techniques, revealing new details with every viewing.
This body of work was created during the first two years following Mae’s diagnosis of Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Each piece serves as an exploration of trauma, emotional states, or a specific alter—offering an intimate and deeply honest visual language.
