Charles F. Weigle House Museum Charles Weigle, a prominent Christian evangelist and hymn writer was born in Lafayette, Indiana, in 1871. He was a close personal friend of George E.

Sebring Jr., founder of Sebring, Florida. In 1922 he build his home at 1989 Lakeview Drive in Sebring.
