It’s been a while since I’ve added vintage chenille fabric and quilt square sets to my etsy shop. Don’t you just love all the different colors and textures? These are great for your DIY projects. This Easter cross pillow is such a wonderful way to display and celebrate our risen Lord. It has such rich beautiful colors. I started with fabric from a repurposed white matelasse coverlet with a raised paisley design. I attached vintage yo yos together to form a cross and appliquéd it onto a light green floral fabric. The pillow measures 13.5” x 13.5”. I currently have two available in my etsy shop (link is in bio).

This is wonderful oversized canvas bag that is embellished with pieces of vintage quilts, quilt tops, fabric yo yos, applique, embroidered vintage piece and doily. It is HUGE and would be ideal for thrifting or shopping at estate sales and markets. It has extra wide shoulder length straps that are 1.6” wide and 31.5” long. The tote measures approximately 28.5” x 24” x 10” and is super sturdy and roomy!

Happy Monday, everyone! I have been working on these new additions to my etsy shop. I used some red crushed velvet fabric from a repurposed vintage mid-century bedspread to make some lovely primitive strawberry pin cushions and small strawberry pin cushions. 🍓Then, with spring just around the corner I put together these sweet little birch wood strawberry baskets with vintage fabrics including velvet, feed sack, gingham check and other cotton prints. There are six strawberries in each basket. I hope you’ll go take a look😊

I had some beautiful pink fabrics and a lot of solid pink vintage fabric yo yos that I was experimenting with. I decided to make some pillows and embellish them with roses made from the yo yos. The third pillow has a ruffle and shabby rose that I made using the same fabric as the pillow. I love the way they turned out! These would be beautiful to display for Valentine’s Day or simply as part of your spring/summer decor. You should go check them out. Etsy link is in my bio.

Happy Saturday! I realize a lot of you are bracing for snow or ice over the next couple of days. I hope everyone stays safe and warm. Remember to check on your loved ones….. especially the senior/elderly ones.

I have some new Valentine theme items in my etsy shop. There are limited quantities so hurry on over. The tulip and roses cone arrangements are so unique and would make lovely gifts. I made the tulips and roses from vintage fabric yo yos, and I love how they tuned out. Later, I will be listing some small pillows embellished with fabric yo yo roses. I hope you will love them as much as I do.

Some of you said that you missed out on last weeks stuffed hearts/bowl fillers and coaster sets. I was able to make more, and there is a limited quantity available in my etsy shop (link in bio). They’re perfect for Valentines Day but can definitely be used year round.
