Happy New Year to everyone here that follow me. Thank you for your support! I wanted to post here to let everyone know that I am working behind the scenes to purchase a new clay body to continue my work in the studio. I have always been a customer of Highwater Clay in Asheville, NC and was saddened when their facility was destroyed during Helene. They chose not to rebuild. I was always able to travel and pick up my clay orders which saved quite a bit of money and allowed me to then pass that savings on to my customers. After searching and looking at different clay bodies, I believe I have found a good match and with shipping I should not need to increase the cost of my mugs or other orders. Fingers crossed that the new clay body will not have any unexpected surprises. Thank you again. Debbie 😊
