Well, I am getting over my broken arm, little by little. I plan to start my art classes, but I need to know who would be interested? Give me some feedback. I can instruct on faux finishes and on oil or acrylic painting.

Well, I haven't followed up on some things because I broke my arm in 2 places and am still recovering. I am out of my sling as of Sunday, but still can't use my arm a lot but getting better day by day.

Well, are you ready for those pictures to choose from that you want to paint? Ready to party it up and just have a fun time with your group? I will be posting those by next week. I had a delay due to the Phoenix trip I just came back from, but I am no less excited to be offering this at the wellness center.

Ok, all you who like my page and want to have some fun! I am going to be signing up 8-10 people who want to paint a picture here at the Wellness Center. At the end of the month I will post 4 different pictures your group can choose from. If you have a group that you want to get together with to have some fun,now is the time and you have a local place to come. I have the brushes and canvas for you. The canvas goes with you, my brushes stay here. I will supply the paint that you need to paint your picture. NOW IS THE TIME for action. Several have said they want to learn to paint. The session will last for 3 hours. Painting For Pleasure will start May 25th. Your group can schedule other times, just call me at 417-343-7769 and we will get together on a day. The cost will be $35 per person. No refunds. The minimum number of people I can book for a class is 8 and the maximum at this time is 10. You will have more fun than you have had in a long time!

I am looking forward to touch up the murals in Seymour this Spring. I hope and pray no other person or people decide to graffiti.

Be sure to stop by the Heart of Health Wellness Center. I have faux finishes throughout the center. Hopefully you will like what you see. I have plans in the early fall, to touch up some or all of the murals I have on the square. They were graffiti by someone, and I have had health issues that has kept me from 'doctoring' them up. But I am feeling better now and when the heat wave gets over, I will try to get them 'spruced up.'

Had a great time at Rooster's a few days ago. There was a local man who came in with several people I had never seen before. I thought I would check it out to see if I could make them feel even more welcome. After speaking with the waitress we went in to the room where I had painted the mural. I said, "Hi, where are you all from," and of course the local said "Seymour" (with a wide grin on his face), and the others said "Minnesota" so I challenged them to find the 'spider' on the wall that I painted in the mural and left them to look while getting cookies for the group for their effort. It was a whole lot of fun, and hopefully added a little spice to their visit with our town.

I am hoping I can get some endorsments for my art. If I have painted anything for you or if you have seen my art, I would appreciate a review from you. I am a big girl, and I learn from all critiques, so good or bad I would appreciate your comments. I am not just trying to get someone to toot my horn, I truly want some feedback that would help me expand my business. I will be giving classes out of the wellness center occassionally. If anyone is interested in taking classes, I need at least six enrolled. Let me know. I have this posted on the wellness center as well.

The caboose belongs to Mike Cunningham and there is quite a story behind the caboose. I painted the signs on the caboose. This picture just shows one sign and and only the one side. In the upper right hand side you can see part of the 'Frisco' symbol.
