Facebook is so difficult. 🥲

In order to change my name on here to my business name, I have to post a certain amount of times per week and get a specific amount of engagement.

Blah blah blah - so here’s me enjoying my slow morning.
Coffee in hand, baby on my chest, the smell of cinnamon rolls in the air, and the sound of toddlers starting their day with their imagination on full blast.

I have quite the agenda for myself today. I’m getting back into the swing of tattoo things so I have a few client designs to bust out. I’m also creating some fun art to sell at local guest artists spots. 🧡
You all will be seeing more of me and my daily adventures. Don’t go far. 😌

We have a new cry baby around here…🩵🌧️

Thank you all for being patient with me during my pregnancy and now postpartum period.
I’ll get back to tattooing and painting soon but for now…I’m busy soaking up the best moments in life.

Cry Baby Atelier will be set up at the Cupid’s Market event on February 8th!

Unfortunate for me but good news for you…I’ll have all new paintings available because my two toddlers destroyed every single one of my available canvas paintings. 🙃

I will also have a new, more appealing set up as far as my booth goes!

Come check me out!

Nothing on my mind right now except tattooing…Can’t wait to get back into a studio. 😮‍💨

Music to my sweet ears when my husband says “You still want that FK irons?” 😮‍💨

Not to mention he surprised me with a new Electrum thermal printer for Christmas. Upgrades make me giddy like a little kid! So exciting!

Hey friends!

Long time, no talk.
I’ve been out of a studio for a bit but in the meantime I have been taking this time to study the history of tattooing and practice my art skills. Kind of like restarting my tattoo career from the ground up but learning it ALL this time.

My first historical pit-stop has been Ötzi the Iceman and I wanted to share a little about him with you!

Ötzi’s body was accidentally founded in 1991 but he was much older than believed. Due to the cold climate he was found in, his mummified body was so well preserved that when studied, they discovered he was from the Copper Age! That is older than the Egyptian Pyramids!

Why is his body significant to the history of tattooing? Ötzi is one of the earliest known humans with tattoos! 61 of them to be exact and they weren’t the same as the tattoos we know today. Instead of using a needle, these 61 tattoos were created by cutting small incisions and then rubbing pulverized charcoal into the incisions to make the “tattoo”. So wild!

Interesting stuff huh? I thought so too!
If you want to check out Ötzi’s story or start at the beginning of tattoo history with me, click the link below.
I’ll keep sharing important figures in tattoo time and other fun historical facts.

Until next time 🤍

Ötzi, the glacier mummy, is displayed in the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology in Bolzano, Italy together with his clothing and equipment.
