Painting as early as two years old, it was only a matter of time before her imagination took flight to create a masterpiece. Angel is self taught and specializes in drawing, painting, and mixed media. Her work has been displayed in several shows across three states and has taken several awards. Her body of work includes well over a hundred pieces at this point in time. Starting her artistic journe

Angel took a brief hiatus from her work during 2018-2020 after a difficult divorce that led to homelessness, but has since returned to pursuing her art career full time with new fervor. Angel participates in several exhibitions each month and teaches weekly acrylic classes at The Community Art Gallery. I sat across from her, a bit nervous and unsure. I'd only been serving in deliverance for about a month.
She recounted a powerful testimony of strength and resilience in the face of tragedy. As we continued, I realized that she was homeless. She didn't know where she'd go on that cold, December evening. She just knew that she was desperate for freedom, and she needed to be in that room.

I drove home that night forever changed. It was the night I realized that the stories of each of our clients would become pieces of our own - molding and weaving together, changing our perception of reality, the world, and our God. I knew that Deliverance was a journey from which I'd never fully emerge.

That was three years ago. For four years, I've watched her learn and grow. I've walked alongside of her and cheered her on.

Things came full circle almost three years after our first meeting when she came for more deliverance. We first stepped into that room a bit nervous and unsure, but this time, we gathered as Warriors, powerful women of God prepared for battle.

We had been wrestling with the head demon for a while. She was on her knees coughing and gagging.
I called upon the Warring Angels, but it was relentless. Finally, I said to her, "Friend, you have to take authority. I can't command anything else. This is your battle. You have to fight."

I sat back and began to pray in the Spirit, and I watched an incredible scene unfold. At first, gasping through the coughs, she began speaking in Tongues. It started as a broken whisper, then it rose into an authoritative declaration, and then finally, a mighty roar broke out.
From her chest, the Lion of Judah exploded out and devoured that serpent she'd been wrestling with. A strength that reverberated in the atmosphere.

She continued praying in the Spirit as a stillness settled around us, and then, she began interpreting her own words, a seal from the Heavenly Father.

I just sat back and watched in awe of our God who taught me the depth of His love as He continually went after her time after time until she was finally free...

She needed me that day three years ago, but I needed her, too. I am forever changed.

I first started seeing this vision in October of last year during the Million Women event. I saw a river of Justice and Mercy flowing down from the Throne, radiant and absolute. I saw Righteousness flooding in and setting straight all that is broken in this nation.

I've seen it repeatedly as I've cried out for our people. Much like birthing pains, ushering in the Shaking comes with a myriad of emotions: the grief of watching Babylon fall and the suffering that will come as a result, the joy and anticipation of a lovesick Bride, knowing that this process will only bring us closer to Him.

I have seen the Shaking. I have seen the ground open up into a great chasm and swallow up the darkness in the Nation. I have seen the River of Life flowing from the Throne that washes clean all in its path.

I have seen the rebuilding from the rubble. As the dust settles, the Remnant standing strong and joining hands to step out and take authority of the land. I have seen the great Revival birthed of the Remnant, as those who remain look to the people of God for direction and hope. I have seen the Shifting. It is coming. Are you ready?

"I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing."
John 15:5 ESV

"Apart from Me, you can do nothing." That's it. That's the point of it all. The cleansing, the purification, the transformation, the meaning of it all... It's all in Him.

Today, my oldest told me that he'd like to be a pastor when he grows up. These seeds that we're planting, all of our investments into the future generations... They're growing. They're taking root. They're building something infinitely beautiful and eternal. Keep planting. 🌱

1. Jesus became the Overcomer as He conquered death, hell, and the grave to give us access to His eternal victory in every area. Because of His fierce love for us, we are seated in Heavenly places with Jesus Christ, as He reigns in all authority in Heaven and on the earth. Because of Jesus, we are more than conquerors!

Revelation 12:11 ESV
"And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death."

Last week, we made an impromptu trip to the city. I may not have known we were going, but God did. On my way home, an old friend called me. She told me which exit to turn off on, only half a mile ahead of where I was. Perfect timing.
I turned off and found myself on a winding country road. The children and I chatted and enjoyed the scenery.
The house was off of a dirt road (all of the best things are 😊) nestled in the forest.
I unloaded the kiddos, and they welcomed us inside. Their whole home was a little sewing shop!
They proceeded to pull out an old sewing machine that they'd refurbished and taught me how to use it. She even offered me sewing lessons, because while the flags are easy to sew, there are more things I'd like to make that are a bit more difficult.

It was such a perfect scene that if I hadn't known them for years, you'd swear this was one of those stories where I'd go back months later and be told that no one has ever lived there, and the slow realization would sink in that I must have encountered angels.

This was a divine encounter. She told me that the Holy Spirit had told her a year ago that she would do something to bless me one day. She waited a whole year for the perfect day, the perfect time, when He said to call, and she did... Right before I would have passed her exit. She didn't just hand me a sewing machine. She passed a torch, an anointing, a Spirit of Excellence from years of well-learned lessons from her hands to mine. I could feel a seal of approval placed on my forehead as I left that place, a reminder that the Lord has me, and He's blessing the next things that I put my hands to.

You never know who is waiting for a divine encounter with you to step into the next piece of their calling. So if He tells you to go somewhere, go. If He tells you to do something, do it. It could change someone's life. 💖

"Jesus over Texas"
None of us have all the answers. No one can make sense of things in the midst of great tragedy.

But one thing remains when everything else fades away: Jesus is still there. Still carrying us through every trial, every season, every question. He is still Lord of all, and that is something we can find rest in when everything else washes away.

I pray that this piece brings comfort to the hurting in this difficult time.
