Sheboygan County Museum Six-building campus that emphasizes Sheboygan County, Wisconsin local history. Holds over 35,000 artifacts of Sheboygan County's past.

Regular Hours February 1 - October 31:
Monday-Friday: 10 am to 5 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 3 pm

Holiday Memories Hours Friday after Thanksgiving - December 30:
Monday - Tuesday: Noon to 7 pm
Wednesday - Sunday: Noon to 5 pm

The Museum is closed the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve.

See you tomorrow at Paradigm Coffee and Music, 8:00am-12:00pm, for Sheboygan Active Transportation's Bike Expo to kick off Bike and Walk Week!

There will be unique, antique, and cool bikes, a bike rack demo by Shoreline Metro, Books on Bikes Sheboygan, Wisconsin Bike Fed, and, of course, amazing coffee.

Join us in June for another exciting month of programming with Sheboygan County Museum! Too kick off the month, museum staff will be working with Cedar Grove WI Public Library to host a "Show and Tell Remix" event. Participants are encouraged bring an object and tell their stories at this event focused on sharing and preserving their own histories. More information can be found at https://cedargrovelibrary.net/

The Museum will also be out in the community for United Way of Sheboygan County's Family Fun Fest in Foundation Park on June 13. Alongside dozens of other community resources, the Museum will be offering visitors an opportunity to create paper lanterns that can be used later in the Summer at the historic Vollrath Bowl Lantern Parade. On the Museum grounds, the Museum will be hosting "America's Kitchen - Cheese-Making Workshop" on June 25. Participants will work with hobby farmer Elizabeth Rich to make fresh cheese and take home both farmer's cheese and cottage cheese while learning about Wisconsin farming traditions. Join us in May for another exciting month of programming with Sheboygan County Museum! During May, museum staff will be working with Lakeview Community Library, and Mead Public Library to host "Show and Tell Remix" events in Random Lake and Sheboygan. Participants are encouraged bring an object and tell their stories at these events focused on sharing and preserving their own histories. More information can be found on each library's websites.

May will also feature two wonderful speakers at the Museum. First, speaker and author Dr. Pao Lor will share his firsthand account of being a young boy who fled Laos and his scholarship on the Hmong Diaspora on May 5. Then, on May 16, art history scholar and Volunteer Coordinator Erin Brehmer will be discussing how architecture and religious worship collided in the early populations of Sheboygan immigrants.
