In honor of Mother's Day, we have temporarily changed our decorative lights from North Shelby's red and gold to a special Mother's Day display! Stop by after dark and take a look over the next few days. We will be switching back to the Raiders' colors shortly after. Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms out there! 💐

The month of May is fast approaching, and with that brings the new Spring & Summer hours for the SCHS Museum! Starting May 1st, the Museum will be open the following days & hours:

Tuesdays- Artifact drop off- 9 to 11 am
Wednesdays - 1 to 5 pm
Thursdays - 5:30 to 8:30 pm
Sundays - open every 2nd and 4th Sundays from 1 to 5 pm

**Note: The Museum will be closed Wed - May 20th & Thurs - May 21st due to the Quarterly Membership Meeting that will be held that week.

📅 The Shelby County Historical Society Museum will be open tomorrow, Sunday, April 26th, from 1-5 pm. Come in and explore the rich history of Shelby County! We are located at 210 E. Maple Street in Shelbina, MO. Stop in, browse around, and discover something new about our community. We hope to see you there! 🏛️

South Shelby Colors.

At the SCHS Museum, we try to display our building's decorative lights to correspond to the current holiday. Now that Easter is over and it is well over a month until Memorial Day, we need to fill that gap with something else. So why not honor Shelby County's fine public schools? So for the next 2-3 weeks, we will display South Shelby's colors, Red and Blue, and after that, North Shelby's colors, Red and Gold.

We had the pleasure of hosting a tour of the Museum on Thursday, March 26th for some of the residents of the Clarence Care Center, Director Mark Walker, and Activities Director Holly Beall. I think we learned more from the residents than they learned from us!! Thank you to all who participated. We hope to see you again real soon!!
