During the Frontier Days Celebration in Shinnston, August 22-25, the Bice Ferguson Museum will host an art exhibit, which is open to all local artists. Museum hours will be 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday of that week and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday. All area artists who wish to participate are welcome. A People's Choice Award winner will be chosen by vote of the public with a cash prize of $100.
Those who choose to visit the Museum during the celebration and fill out an entry form will be eligible to win gift certificates of $50 each at All Season's Florist and the Urban Market. One winner will be chosen from those who register, and only one entry per person will be accepted. Please plan to join us and visit the Museum to view the art exhibited, vote for your choice for the People's Choice Award, and have an opportunity to win the gift certificates from two local merchants.
