Serenity Clay Studios

Serenity Clay Studios Custom, Ceramic Art.... Artisan, hand crafted, one of a kind pieces. By Joan Adams Creating things from clay is my passion in life.

A reflection of who I am today.... Twenty four years ago I took some college classes and fell in love with it. Over the past several years I have struggled with many hardships. Life altering experiences that many people do not ever have to deal with. Ones that many people do not overcome. Getting back into life and the real world was a struggle. But I am a survivor and I want to be a role model fo

r others in recovery that anything is possible. My art often reflects my moods and emotions. Sometimes they are centered, others not so much. Creating things from clay is something I truly look forward to each day. This has been my saving grace in recovery. My purpose for moving forward again. I am evolving every day in what I make and direction in which it takes me. There is nothing that I can not make... I love any challenges. I choose today to be an artist, because it is what brings me inner peace. When I center the clay, I am centering my soul...

Within the recovery community, giving back is a huge part of the recovery process... So in keeping with that tradition I am willing and able to offer pieces of my work to any functions coming up as a donation for the event. Recently I moved to Laurel Mississippi. So I am now out in the country, living my dream and creating art... God Bless
