We will be taking part in tomorrow’s nationwide call to action for worker’s rights and affordability by being closed on Friday, May 1st.

It is our belief that every American deserves to live comfortably and free, and the path that we are currently being led down by the few with power is incompatible with that idea. This May Day is a stepping stone toward showing that small group at the top that there are more of us than there are of them, and that we are the ones that ultimately hold the economic power.

We know that closing our small little store won’t make a huge impact, but not showing our support right now feels like making a tacit admission that our current trajectory is acceptable.

We will be open again during our normal hours on Saturday.

Last month we purchased a fine art printer for our workshop, and that means we now offer prints from some of our local artists! They come in a variety of sizes, from 13x19 all the way down to tiny little 2x3 cards! And since it’s all done in-house, we can make sure that each piece has vibrant colors and is on just the right paper to make each piece as good as it can be!

The prints includes reproductions of pieces that are already in our gallery, as well as art that is brand new to us. Our selection is growing every day as we print more, so be sure to stop by and check it out often to see what’s new!

Just in time for spring (pretend it's not literally snowing right now), we now have some greeting cards made by one of our artists, Kirby Kana!

There might be some more little pieces of art that are showing up in our gallery soon, too. There will be more on that in the next few days!

This week marks 1 year since we opened as Signal Art & Framing! We want to thank everyone that’s stopped by in the last year, whether you were getting something framed, buying art, just looking through our gallery, or simply saying hi! And an extra thanks to the 12 local artists that gave us a chance pretty much right off the bat with having their art hanging in the gallery!

Here’s some stats for our first year:
- Over 500 frames assembled!
- About 1,000 sq ft of glass and acrylic cut and cleaned
- Over 50 pieces of art from local artists sold
- Oldest thing framed: Dinosaur bones and meteor fragments
- Grossest thing framed: Two cicadas (but they look great!)

We have a lot of plans for updates to our gallery, new framing services, and events in 2026, so keep an eye out for us this year!

We wanted to show off a recent project that we’re proud of! The 3rd of these portraits needed to be highlighted, so we spliced two mats together at an angle and created this custom design that you can’t find off the shelf!

We love getting to tackle unique projects like this, so if you have anything you want to get framed that’s a little different, weird, wacky, or just generally out there: bring it in!

Looking for last minute Christmas gifts? This Saturday is the last day we’re open before the holidays!

We have a gallery full of art by local artists, including paintings, pottery, and woodworking. From stocking stuffers to blow-you-away oil paintings, we’ve got plenty of unique gifts for any art appreciator in your life! And if you don’t know what your recipient might like, we offer gift cards as well!

To anyone that has a frame order with us that you told us is needed for Christmas: we hope to have them all done by Saturday. We’ll be texting you later today to let you know the status of your frame.

If you want to get something framed before Christmas, the last day to bring your art in is Wednesday, November 26th! If you start an order after that day we’ll still do our best if you need it for Christmas, but we can’t make any promises.

We’ll also be closed for Thanksgiving weekend on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so stop by soon to secure your place on our calendar!
