Snake Oil Glassworks Join us for our First Friday Glassblowing Events!! Friday of every month from 6-9 pm. Snake Oil Glassworks, Inc. We invite you to visit if you are in the area.

is a privately owned hot glass studio that produces handcrafted art glass, using traditional off-hand glassblowing techniques. Our store and gallery, with its observation window, is open to the public Thursday through Sunday every week. We offer a wide selection of vases, bowls, paperweights, and other pieces both decorative and functional. We may also be engaged for commission work by architects

and designers for a variety of custom projects. Browse through our gallery here for a sampling of the pieces we make. Our studio is located two miles north of the village of Skaneateles in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York State.

Join us Saturday March 28th from 11 am to 5 pm! We’ll be blowing glass eggs all day in the hot shop and you are invited to come in and watch. This is a new, first ever demonstration event. Visitors to the studio will be admitted into the hot shop to observe the activities first hand. As always our gaffer and her assistants will answer your glass blowing questions and, for a special price can even make an egg just for you. We’ll have glass eggs available for purchase in our store. Glass pieces made at the demonstration will be available for sale in our store the following morning (Sunday, March 29) once they emerge from the annealer.

There is no charge to attend the event, no appointments are necessary. If the parking lot should be full you may park across the street at the church.
