Opening Reception, 6-8pm tonight! For the fourth and final week of twenty total BFA capstone exhibitions. Martha Gault Art Gallery proudly presents the Bachelor of Fine Arts Spring 2026 Capstone exhibitions. These are the capstone projects completed by art majors who are earning their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees and graduating in May 2026.
The fourth and final week of exhibitions is on view May 4th through May 7th and includes five students’ individual exhibitions.
    •    Kathryn Barnes (Painting) presenting “Long Way”
    •    Taylor Godleski (Fiber Arts) presenting “What Do I Mean to You”                    
    •    Bailey Lundmark (Ceramics) presenting “Transitional”                 
    •    Alexa Rivero (Ceramics) presenting “Provocations”               
    •    Jacob Seybert (Graphic Design) presenting “History of Gaming”        
The public is invited to attend the reception on Monday, May 4th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Martha Gault Art Gallery is generously sponsored by the Art Department, the College of Liberal Arts, and the Student Government Association. The Martha Gault Art Gallery is on 108 Maltby Ave, Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.  The Art Gallery is all-accessible by parking and entry on Campus Drive near Rhoads Hall. On March 26 from 6 PM to 8 PM the Butler Art Center and Gallery hosts the opening reception of Artist Generated, an interdisciplinary art exhibition by Slippery Rock University Bachelor of Fine Arts students ! The Butler Art Center is located at 344 South Main St. in Butler, Pennsylvania. Light refreshments are served.

Welcome Back! The Martha Gault Art Gallery proudly presents the 3rd Art Alumni Exhibition, on view from March 23 through April 9, 2026.  This is the third edition of the event that honors Art alumni and celebrates their diverse talents. The exhibition is an opportunity for us all: Art alumni, faculty, current students and community members to stay connected and to foster support for education. The Art Alumni Exhibition participants generously support a current Art major. The award will be given to a selected current Art major during the Closing Reception. Please join us to celebrate! Co-sponsored by The SRU Alumni Association. The Martha Gault Art Gallery proudly presents the Slippery Rock University Art Alumni Exhibition, March 23- April 9, 2026.  By donating to the Art Alumni Award, exhibition participants generously support a current Art major. The award will be given to a selected current Art major during the Closing Reception. See Link in Bio.
