This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸❤️

Today we reflect with gratitude for those who served and gave everything for our country. Wishing everyone a peaceful Memorial Day spent with loved ones and in remembrance of our heroes.

Thank you to all who served.
Forever grateful. Never forgotten.

Continued making slow progress on the 2027 Clover Mugs 🍀 These special mugs will be released for St. Patrick’s Day next year, and even though I’m not able to do too much in the studio right now, it still feels wonderful to step outside, water my flowers, and appreciate this little creative space I’ve built over the years. 💗🦋

If you haven’t seen the studio for yourself, here are a few of my favorite parts:
✨ My salvaged sliding kiln room door from an old school
✨ New hooks displaying some of my favorite mugs above the coffee pot
✨ A beautiful set of antique 1920s enamel cabinets rescued from a house in Pittsburgh
✨ All my plants of course 🌿
✨ And the newest addition… this used book wall 📚 It still needs some love, but the possibilities are endless!

This studio has become so much more than a workspace. It’s truly my happy place. 💕

Spent a little time in the studio today doing some light cleaning and getting everything ready for a glazing day tomorrow ✨🍀

I think I finally decided on the glaze combination for these clover mugs… a soft sage green on the inside paired with this stunning glaze called Micro Jade on the outside 💚 The best part? It has real crystal bursts that grow beneath the surface of the glaze as the kiln cools, creating beautiful golden patterns that make every mug one of a kind 🔥

These were originally meant for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day release, but after my cancer diagnosis in January, this year took a very different path than I expected. Instead of telling myself I’m a year behind… I’m choosing to believe I’m simply a year ahead ☘️✨

2026 is officially the year of the butterflies around here 🦋 and you already know there will be beautiful butterfly mugs and ornaments coming for 2027 too. I’m excited to see what other meaningful projects I can work on during the good days ahead.

Stay tuned tomorrow for glazing videos and the final kiln results of these beautiful clover mugs 💚🔥

Time to add the clear glaze ✨🔥

This step always seems a little counterintuitive because once the glaze dries, the image turns completely white… but trust the process! 👏 After the kiln fire, these pieces will come out shiny, vibrant, and full of color again. I can’t wait to see the final results! 🎨🦋

This year’s Relay For Life tree donation feels extra special 💗🦋

Every year we donate a themed tree to help raise money for cancer treatment… but this year I’m creating one for breast cancer while fighting my own battle.

This is the year of the butterfly — a symbol of transformation, strength, hope, and overcoming the impossible. The tree will be filled with lavender, butterflies, and hand-painted ceramic ornaments made right here in my studio.

I had chemo Friday, and recovery week is never easy… but today I get to sit in my peaceful studio and hand paint these tiny butterflies one by one. Honestly, creating through this season has been healing in so many ways.

Watch these little butterflies come to life 🦋💜
